Princess Diana
I never understood the Princess Diana thing, especially the worship that was given her upon her death. That was a tragic thing, but to worship the exwife of the potential figurehead of England, just didn't make sense to me and still doesn't. Someone said that it was a kind of rags to riches thing, but I don't believe that a bit. It may have been perceived as a poor girl living out a fairy tale, but she had to have been on the approved list, or the marriage never would have been approved.
I am more concerned about the Royals being cursed at love. Well, I am not really concerned about them at all, but their relationship problems do demonstrate that being amongst the richest people in the world is no insurance that one's marriage will be a good one. Isn't it true that years ago the then Duke of Windsor realized this and gave up his right to the figureheadship in order to marry his true love? The man had his head on right, which says a lot more for him than it does for those who would worship exwives of potential figureheads. But that's just my opinion.
