Royal Wedding
The Royals are at it again. In a recent non-event the potential figurehead of England married his 35 year sweetheart in a civil ceremony, where both had to apologize for messing around with each other.
The marriage could not be done in the Anglican Church because that church does not recognize divorce. But then the church that does not recognize divorce to a deceased former wife, required the public apologies in order to make things right. Does anyone else see a twisting of logic and values here?
Thing is, if someone has a public history of messing around and promises not to do it again at their wedding, how much trust should be put in the promise? At least this marriage was for love and not for positioning Oneself for the future. Or was it?
